Hey everyone!

I'm Seren, the owner of Sweet Serendipity.

As a plus size woman with experience working in women's clothing stores and boutiques, the lack of trendy clothing available in plus sizes has always bothered me. I grew up with body image issues, and it wasn't until my mid twenties that I began to love my body. A lot of this has to do with the clothing choices available to plus size women as well as society's "rules" when it comes to dressing. "Don't wear crop tops, wear black because it's slimming, wear this certain cut, wear loose clothes, etc." It took a long time for me to gain the confidence to dress how I wanted, and there are still days were I feel insecure going out in outfits that don't "suit my body type." 

My goal with Sweet Serendipity is to empower people to feel confident and beautiful with the way they look. As someone who loves fashion and spends WAY too much money shopping, I know the confidence a killer outfit brings. I know the feeling of clicking on a shopping ad for a style that I LOVE... and the disappointment that comes when I see it only goes up to a size 10 or 12. With Sweet Serendipity, I want to make these kinds of eye catching pieces accessible to those the fashion industry leaves out. While we currently specialize in sizes XL-3X, my goal is to grow this business to carry sizes XXS-8X! For now, we carry curated collections of small batch fashion in sizes XL-XXL and 1X and 3X. We also carry jewelry and accessories from various small businesses, including several eco friendly ones!
